Carol Lorenc was reelected to a third term as President of The Resource Center's Board of Directors at the agency's Annual Membership Meeting, held June 2 in TRC's Michael J. Raymond Center at 75 Jones & Gifford Avenue in Jamestown.

Also elected to one-year terms as Board officers were Michael Metzger, Vice President; Carole Johnson, Secretary; and Dr. Todd Jacobson, Treasurer.

Elected to two-year terms as Board members were James Chimenti, Harry Glatz, R. Michael Goldman, Esq., Wayne Hotelling, Patrick Kennedy, and Barbara Stewart. The only new member among them is Pat Kennedy; he replaces Jennifer Liuzzo, who in accordance with TRC's by-laws could not be reelected because she had served three consecutive terms on the Board. In appreciation for her years of service, Jennifer received a plaque, and a painting created by a consumer in TRC's "Alternatives" Day Habilitation Program.

Also elected at the Annual Meeting was the Nominating Committee for the 2009-10 Board Election: Larry Borowski, Roger Britz, Laura Felice, Mary Lenda, and Patricia Pihl.

The meeting also included the annual Legacy Circle Donor Recognition, honoring individuals and businesses who, as of December 31, 2007, had reached significant levels of cumulative financial contributions to The Resource Center and/or TRC Foundation.

KeyBank of Western New York officials Lyman Buck, Banking Relationship Manager and Senior Vice President, and Marie Hare, Vice President of Community Affairs, display the plaque and consumer painting they received in recognition of KeyBank having given The Resource Center and TRC Foundation $75,000 over the years. Also pictured are, from left, Carol Lorenc, President of The Resource Center’s Board of Directors; Michael Felice, Chair of TRC Foundation’s Board; and Paul Cesana, Executive Director of The Resource Center and the President of TRC Foundation.
