Katie Knaak-Cole has been employed by The Resource Center since 1989. She has overseen Social Services operations at the agency since 1993, and was appointed to her current position as Director of Social Services in 2000. Prior to 1993, Katie held the position of Social Worker in the agency's Article 28 Clinic. In addition to her employment at TRC, Katie has been a Field Educator for the University at Buffalo School of Social Work and for the Social Work Program at the State University of New York College at Fredonia, where she also served on the Advisory Committee for the Social Work Program. Katie has recently become involved with the Community Impact Team addressing aging services issues through the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County. She holds a master's degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo and has completed the Leadership Development for Human Services Professionals certificate program through Jamestown Community College.
